Here's a good one for the people who seem to think that Pitchfork harbors the most pretentious reviews out there. It's good to see the underdog come through.
It's so much more than six-syllable vocabulary. My favorite passage:
"It's difficult to say whether or not Dirty Projectors, taken as a whole, are better enjoyed in context or out of it. Even more difficult would be to say, exactly, what that context is."
That's 34 words of pure, incoherent brilliance. I mean, does the passage itself make more sense in or out of context? There are just so many levels.
